but if i had another wish i would make it so you loved me again
and then if i got another one id ask for a million more wishes so that i could always make you happy.
and yes this is how much i still love you.
but i am sensible enough to know that I come first and foremost

I connect with you on this issue...I've gone through a similar experience. It sucks, but I try to remember everything happens for reason..sometimes I wonder if some of the events that transpire in life are for a good reason.

Yeah...it's like you're left in the dark..in a dark room. Left to search for the answer yourself.
Maybe some of the people who tout that phrase, don't know even know the answer themselves.
